The Atlas Easy Clean First Egress Friction Hinge is the perfect solution for heavy duty egress windows where sash and frame clearance is an important consideration. Examples may include modern UPVc Flush Windows and Timber Alu / Clad style systems. Accommodating sash weights of up to 45kg and sash widths up to 900mm, the easy clean first operation and unique geometry provide improved clearance between sash and frame on opening and closing. The easy clean dimension is well in excess of British Standard requirements and means cleaning the outside of windows is safer and easier. The egress position is easily achieved on second-stage operation to meet Building Regulation requirements, and the hinge automatically resets upon closing.
